By placing free community bookshelves in shared areas, we make reading accessible to children, families and residents of all ages. Imabli Rise’s focus is on providing books in South African and African languages, so everyone can experience the joy and dignity of reading in their mother tongue. Through literature and storytelling, their mission is aim to build connection, understanding and pride across our diverse neighbourhood, encouraging active citizenship and care for our shared spaces.
